THIERRY HENRY REVEALS THE ONE THING LUKAKU NEEDTO B AN ELITE STRIKER

The Belgium international averages just
under a goal every two games for the
Merseysiders, but Henry is of the opinion
that he requires to work more independently
in the box
Former Arsenal favourite Thierry Henry
believes Romelu Lukaku has the potential
to become one of the world's best strikers if
he can amend his efficiency in front of
goal.
The Belgium international has become a
customary fixture in the Everton side since
peregrinating from Chelsea back in 2013, and has
been linked with a move back to Stamford
Bridge on numerous occasions.
But despite averaging virtually a goal every
two games for the Toffees, Henry believes
he must learn to carve out his own chances
to make it at the highest caliber.
"For me it's his faculty to score goals when
people aren't victualing him. If he integrates that to
his game then he can be elite. He's not far
from it to be fair," Henry expounded to Welkin
Sports .
Ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher,
meanwhile, accoladed Lukaku's record at the
Reds' Merseyside rivals, while backing him
to land a sizably voluminous move in the near-future.
"He's got a similar record to Duncan
Ferguson and he's done it in a lot less
games," Carragher said.
"Ferguson's got an FA Cup winners' medal,
iconic for scoring big goals in big games
against Manchester United and Liverpool.
"But if he continues to score goals he's
going to be talked about in the summer. If
Everton can't get close to Champions
League then eventually he'll go."
